THE ANCIENT MANUAL ART OF WELLBEING AND VITALITY
Shiatsu (from the Japanese Shi: finger and Atsu: pressure) is an autonomous manual art, distinct from medical professions. Shiatsu acts on energetic blockages through the exertion of natural pressure, and enables the harmonious flow of the life force. Shiatsu treatment is unique and individual, as is every human being.
Shiatsu helps reestablish a person’s energetic and physical balance, helps with stress-related issues, strengthens the immune system, improves the quality of a person’s sleep and rest, acts on the malfunctions of the musculoskeletal apparatus and aids the functioning of the nervous and digestive systems.
Luisa Valeri is a qualified professional Shiatsu practitioner. She received her training and education at the Shambala Shiatsu school run by Douglas Gattini. She is registered with FISIEO (The Italian Federation of Shiatsu Teachers and Practitioners) and has been officially approved by the Lombardy region.
During the first session, Luisa makes a postural and musculoskeletal evaluation and sets up a specific individual treatment based on the results of the evaluation. This takes place on a comfortable mat and the receiver is dressed in comfortable clothing.
